DIARY: Let's Talk About Being a Blogger. The Reason Why I Blog.

Hello guys! 

I'm back again, but sorry this is not beauty or review post! My sister's taking the camera i've always used to, along with her to Japan. and I even haven't get the chance to really make a review or makeup tutorial. 

So in this post, I'm joining B Blog's Blogger Competition and I also want to let you guys know about me and my blog. It's gonna be long, but i'll try to make it short.

 so please read it while enjoying the music from my page :)

I've been into blogging since 2010 but at that time I was using Tumblr. 

I blogged almost everyday though it's actually only about pictures and photos.

I was so good at it that I could tweaked every themes I've used my own.

You'll see 'me' when you visit my blog. That tumblr represents me so much that I put a lot of my time blogging, though it's just posting pictures but it's my place, I love being there. I also met a lot of new people from other countries as well. I'm not a Tumblr Famous, but I've reached 4000+ followers. 

These kind of vintage, pastel, pink, antique, paris, lovely pictures I've collected on my weheartit page. 

But life happens, I've lost interest on my own blog that I thought was a part of me. I began to slowly walk away from it. I claimed to be too busy with life that I don't find my self blogging again. Sometimes I do still blog but not as often as I used to and it happen in late 2012. 

In beginning of 2013, I almost forgot about my tumblr because my studies took a lot of my time and energy. 

But then on April 2013, I started to fall in love with Makeup and fashion especially Japan makeup and fashion, called Gyaru. But from 'ordinary me' who know nothing about makeup and how to be Gyaru, it will be such a huge change for me. 

In Indonesia, people will see you weird if you walk out with Gyaru style especially with those thick falsies and makeup. But my love for makeup grew so fast that I decided to do it step by step, not an instant change. 

That decision of doing it step by step took me to keep track of it. how? By making a blog and write a post of everything that I do. 

Since my previous blog was known as vintage and pastel blog which I didn't intend to delete/deactivate it, I can't just mix it up with my personal stuff so I decided to make a new blog here, where I can post all of my Gyaru transformation and my journey. it's really a baby step.
The purpose is to show and help people how I do my makeup, so I can get feedback from readers and also to share all of my experiences in doing what I want.
 That's why I decided to make a blog. 

I see it is more affective using blogspot than tumblr, and I also see a lot of blogger using blogspot too. But, well since i'm a newbie, I had hard time to tweak my theme.

And after few post posted, I decided to talk about my ombre hair. How I deal with bleach, and hair colorant, since because of this first try I became so addicted with ombre hair and colored hair. And I got alot of positive feedback from my first ombre hair post, That's why I will keep posting about coloring hair and everything about it. 

My blog's name is piccolettabelle. 

frankly speaking, I have no idea where and how I came up with this name.

piccoletta is Italian word meaning small/short person, while belle is french word means beautiful. 

So piccolettabelle means beautiful small person.

I found this name very beautiful to pronounce but for other people it's hard to read even to memorize it. 

There's a story behind the name. I'm now 170cm and a big size girl, but before I've always been the tallest and biggest girl in every class, even boys are way smaller than me, and I often got bullied, they said I was ugly, and I can't be friends with some of them because I was ugly. It hurts so much and I don't know how to handle it, so I also see my self ugly and it made me have no self-esteem.  

That's when I felt like I wanna be smaller, skinnier and prettier, so i don't have to be that big and ugly girl. So basically piccolettabelle is a kind of person I want to be, small and beautiful. 

I never really thought that I'll become a beauty blogger, as first my intention was to just keep track of my Gyaru transformations. But as I go along with it, look at where it take me now. I never expected that now I have 71 readers. It's something huge for me as this blog is really what I've put my idea, time, energy on. I'm glad that someone actually read my blog posts, comment it, even ask me personally through line about ombre hair. I also gain new friends, I also learn how to work with other people, and not to mention that my most popular blogpost is when I talk about my ombre hair. I feel so happy when people ask me questions about what I've wrote that they send me feedback. THANKYOUUUUUUUU!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Not only that I gain new friends and meet a lot of people and learn how to work with others, I also learn  to be a trustworthy person and blogger, because there's this time I get free stuff from sponsors, that is when I have to be more responsible with my action, this is where I have to do what i'm supposed to do. yup, I get so many advantages from being a blogger.

I've worked with COW BRAND, Naomi Eyelashes, AGEHA Japan Softlens, and last with B Blog as well. It's such a never-forgotten-experience to be able to participate and to work with them.
Now that I'm a beauty blogger, it's not only to keep track of my Gyaru transformation, but also talk about what I know about beauty. I love to blog, I love to review and try new things and also to help you guys in things I can do, for example Ombre Hair and some Japanese Makeup style I've learned.

as for the Tips and Tricks as a blogger

1. Passion to be serious blogger. You just have to have the passion for it, especially in writing because blogging is all about writing. But you don't have to be that good in writing, just look at me, I'm not even good at writings and choosing the correct words for sentences and I don't know alot of vocab.

2. Don't make free stuffs your priority as a blogger. Who don't like to get free stuff? especially make-up? I admit I do like free stuff, but as a blogger, don't make it your top and only reason why you blog. I don't think it's the right thing to do.

3. Be Creative and unique. As what senior bloggers told me, if you want to review products, use your own words from your own experience. Every blogger has their own style of writings, find yours!

4. Don't follow and tell people to follow your blog so they have to follow you back. It's a lame thing to do because if you do really put an effort on your blog, people will eventually come by themself and read your blog and follow because they know you're good.

5. Don't go blogging to be popular. You'll go nowhere. blog because you want to blog and because you want to help people.

6. Learn from senior blogger to be a better blogger. You can look up to all senior bloggers, learn on how they post stuff. You will eventually improve your writing skill if you keep writing, practice makes perfect. so keep blogging!

7. It's okay to edit/photoshopped your photos. I do also edit with picmonkey. But you have to know, it's not for changing 180° from the original photos. I only edit my photo for its exposure and effect, also if it's my face, I do use "blemish" effect and "Whitening" effect since if you do more than that you'll be different person and I don't want that, though I do look different because of my make up. haha

That's all I can think of for tips and tricks, I'm still learning too :)
