Hey guys, i'm back, and also with new hair.
remember my 'before' hair? plain blonde ombre. but i decided to change that ever since my friend, Peter bought me the hair color.
frankly speaking, i don't really like the color cos it's not the pink i want, it's more purplish pink. what i want is pink ombre, but well this is my first try, gonna do better on my second attempt.
okay, so i'm just gonna show you how i did it!
HAIR BLEACHING
first of all, the tip of my hair isn't pale enough. because i want the pink to shown i decided to bleach it again, yes with one and only Sasha Professional Hair Bleaching.
here's what inside! plus the instruction, i follow exactly the same!!
mix the developer cream and bleaching powder!
it will look like this!
then just apply it to you hair the way you want it.
cos it's ombre or you can say dip-dye, so i only bleached the end part of my hair.
it's abit lighter.
then continue to coloring!!
HAIR COLOR
I'm using Miranda Hair Color in Pink 0.65
the instruction!
i didn't use all, i only use less than half of it.
mixed the colorant cream and the color developer with a little amount of white conditioner.
first apply, it turns pink! this is the actual pink that i want. but in the instruction it says i have to wait for like 20-30minutes.
this is what happen after i waited that long.
it turns purple!!
i was freaking out last night!!
wash it with only conditioner! then dry it.
it's damn PURPLE!!
i was kinda disappointed though.
but the next morning, the color changes abit! turns to abit more pink.
WHERE TO BUY? PRICE?
you could buy Sasha Professional Hair Bleaching in Supermarket such as Carrefour, Hypermart, Giant.
the price is more or less IDR 7.00
You have to ask peter himself for Miranda Hair Color cos he doesn't want to tell me the price, for all i know he didn't buy it in Jakarta, but Belitung. haha so farr :(
so what do you think?
should i cut it or let it be like this for awhile?

the color stays only for a week. it will fade everytime after washing your hair. so it's not long lasting!

I still like it, but i know what you mean. You always have this color in your mind like pastel pink and then you go dye it but it turns out waaay different than you would've imagined. I've had that many times too when i wanted to have my 'shaved' side pink but it turned out onionpurple/red! But later i bleached it again that it turned out like whiteblonde and then it finally became PINK lol XD!
ReplyDeleteHow is the pink now? Did it fade away? Maybe next time you can add some crémeshampoo( i dont know what its called in english ) to it. Ive heard if you have hot pink/purple/blue etc colors and you want it to be pastel you have to add some shampoo to it!

Deleteand yes, i thought it will be pink pastel at first but then turns out to be purplish/pink. it's horrible. but i keep it that way hoping that it will fade. and it did! it became the pink that i want. but it fades out everytime i wash my hair now it's completely gone, so decided to cut my hair shorter.

actually i add conditioner but probably the amount is not enough or should be more. i still have the hair colorant probably i'm going to try it again next time, but this time i'm gonna really bleach my hair more pale so it will give better result.

i think it depends on how often you wash your hair.. cos everytime i washed my hair, it keeps fading. well since that time i had long hair, and i always wash my hair everyday, so yeah, but i guess it is also depend on the hair colorant product you're using.. i saw some bloggers use different products, it stays longer than mine.

ReplyDeletejust wanna' ask you for bleaching technique , after you've done with your bleaching process , did you wash u'r hair first before applying the haircolor ? or after u've bleached it you've just colored it right away ? i wanna bleached my hair but i'm hellla' blinding about how to do it , i'm planning bleaching my whole hair anyway , hope u can help me , sorry for taking space in u'r blog , thank u > // <
i cut my hair short already :) but thankyouuu..
Deleteehm, after bleaching, i wash my hair (the part that got bleached) with conditioner only. the i hair dryer it, until it's dry enough, then i apply the hair color.
make sure the bleach is good quality if not you'll end up having well-damaged hair, then find toner, to face the yellow color and turn it into blonde. Wella is okay.

Hello :) im really looking forward to dip dye my hair. But im quite confused how to do it. How many times should we wash our hair? Should we wash our hair before applying the bleach? Or it should be fully dry? And how about when we apply the hair color? Should we apply it in a dry or wet hair condition? 1. Well it depends on how many time you bleach your hair. If you just bleach once then wash once also.
2.i dont wash my hair before because I will wash my hair after the bleachinh so I won't waste to much shampoo.
3.yes fully dry.
4. Dry hair.. not wet.

ReplyDeleteI think one is enough if you can cover all of your hair. If it's not at least 2. Well depends on your hair.. to get blonde dipdye you also have to bleach at least twice. If you have blonde dipdye it will be so much easier for the hair color (if you want to color your hair) to show up.

hi, just stumbled upon your blog while i was finding a way to ombre my hair. already brought that same hair colorant you have, but i bought blue and pink, planning to experiment with two-tone ombre or something (wish me luck!). how long does it last, the colour? i mean you wash your hair everyday (so do i), how many times you wash your hair til the colour fades? and is it safe to bleach your hair twice like you mentioned in your comment? my hair have had coloured so automatically bleached as well, and it went awfully dry :( i did it in a beauty salon tho!

Ehm the color on my hair last for 2 weeks only. So if I wash my hair everyday and in 2 weeks it fade away then it will be 14times hair wash. Ehm it is safe but it will damage your hair alot especially your hair now dry. My hair when I bleached twice isn't that dry. That's why I still have the courage to bleach my hair.
