“Everyday with Simply Stay by Mustika Ratu” Blogging Competition

Hai everyone!! 

First of all, I'm sorry for missing almost a month (I'm exaggerating ^^). I'm finally done with my final exams, and I did take a break for a week doing nothing but going out with friends and watching TV at home, and of course taking care of a lot of puppies. 

So here I am. Back again, blogging of course. I miss writing all what's in my mind here. it's really been like ages, I don't know why. Just wanna say thankyouu for your supports.

This time I'm joining BBlog Blogging Competition (again).

BBlog Indonesia is collaborating with Mustika Ratu. I bet all of you know Mustika Ratu right?

it's a local product and it's also well known and biggest cosmetics brand in Indonesia. It's amazing how I got the chance in participating this event. 

It took so long after I'm applying my self to get the product, until August 12, 2014, the-long waiting package finally came!! I was so excited to get to try the products out!!

So here's my review

Mustika Ratu is inventing and welcoming their new product known as Mustika Ratu Simply Stay. It's claimed to be Soft, Moist and Long Last. I think it's what most people are searching for right? You wouldn't want to have to check on your makeup over and over again just because you scared it might swatch off or need the retouch. I would want my makeup to stay long and soft and moist.

What's Great about it:

1. With Curcuma Heynean Root Extract as natural skin conditioning for moisturising, softening, and brightening up your skin.

2. With Tocopheryl Acetat (Vitamin E) as natural antioxidant.

3. Ocytyl Methoxycinnamate content as natural UV filter to protect our face from direct sunlight.

4. Soft texture that are easily absorb into our skin

5. easy to be applied

6. could stay for 12 hours ^^

7. Halal

Let's check what's Inside?

There are: Moisturizer, Liquid Foundation, Stick Foundation, Two Way Cake powder

that are available in 4 colours. 

Oh boy, I really can't wait to try it on! but first let me show you some swatches. 

I order it according to how we supposed to put our makeup on.

First off, start with Moisturiser.

Mustika Ratu provided 2 types of moisturiser because not all of us have same types of skin right?

There are for Normal to Oily skin and Normal to Dry skin. For the Dry skin moisturiser, it has more oily texture, well of course so it wouldn't dry out your skin. The great thing about both of the moisturiser, it's not sticky but still moist. It has just nice soft scents and I love it. I'm using Normal to Oily skin. (Sorry for my bare face)

To use this, just apply it all over your face gently. 

 then I'm applying Liquid Foundation.

It comes in for colours as stated above. Liquid Foundation is used after you apply moisturizer. It is to cover or blemish all the flaw that you wouldn't want other people to see, just to make your skin looks perfect. The coverage is sometimes medium. But I feel it covers my red spots well. I'm using pearly white because i have light skin but not yellow tone. Caramel latte and Sweet choco will be too dark for me.
To use this, take enough amount, dab it to all over your face, smudge it gently till it covers all surface. 

After that, time to apply another coverage using Stick Foundation. 

It's more packed than liquid foundation, same purpose with liquid foundation. I'm using stick foundation to cover up mostly red spots that liquid foundation couldn't really cover. I'm using number 1, using number 2,3, or 4 will be too dark for me. It has a soft texture, oily but not too oily, and it also has medium coverage but it's good enough to cover up some flaws. I also use this for highlight.
To use this, I'm using my finger (because it's easier for me to do using my finger), apply enough amount to part where it wants to be covered up. 

Move on to the next step, applying Two Way Cake Powder. 

Truly speaking, I'm never a big fan of powder, I never really use powder for finishing touch, because I don't like matte result. So I didn't use it much but i still try it on. For me it's too powdery. I'm using number 2 to all over my face, and I'm using number 4 for contouring. Since number 4 is too too too dark for me, so instead, I use it for contouring.

To use this, using powder brush, apply enough powder to all over your face. You can use either brush or powder cush/pad. 

When you're done with all those steps above, put on your eye makeup, do your brow, nose contour, and don't forget to put on some lipstick.

I'm trying on some Dark Gyaru makeup style. I hope it suits me, cos I feel so weird, I'm not used to do this Dark Gyaru. Especially with pigmented lips. hahaha..

I didn't photoshop my photos, just give it some light effect, so you can see the coverage on my face.

I'm enjoying my self using this product, I don't realize the result will be this great. And I have to say the liquid foundation isn't cakey. I love it, but I wouldn't use this for everyday, although it's not too cakey but still it's a bit too much for everyday. I rarely went out with full makeup because of my skin condition too.
