Japanese Perm at One Piece Hair Studio

Back with me! Recently I post a photo of my new hair on my Instagram. It's been several months now from the first time i decided that I want my hair to be permanently permed. 

And yes, God answer my prayer! I was given a voucher to be used at One Piece Hair Studio. So I decided to have Japanese Perm! 

Remember I used to work at One Piece Hair Studio Mall Kelapa Gading?

I made friends with all the workers there and they have become a good friend of mine!

When I first arrived there, I felt very welcome by them. So no awkwardness! That's good!

I decided to perm my hair with Detty-san, she was just started her career as stylist last year, and I entrusted her with my hair! Notice, I never really trust people when it comes to chemical. but if it's just cutting, well hair grows back and I wouldn't even mind tho at first I might feel down that my hair isn't the way I want.

If you want to do this, it's best for you to make an appointment first just to be safe that you'll get your turn. I'll put all the information down below

After I arrived, me and Dettysan had consultation first to decide what kind of hairstyle and types of curl that I want. She suggested that I cut my hair abit just to add more texture and style so that the result of the curl will not be weird. After that, Dettysan assistant will help in washing your hair before cutting your hair

I finally try out Panasonic Hair Dryer, it's amazing!

When it's done, they prepared me for the perm. Changing to black outfit. Haha😣

This step is crucial, and in One Piece this is important step before undergoing any chemical treatment. This steam is called Nano Steamer.

It's used as a protection for your hair, It gives Vitamin to the hair shaft without opening the hair cuticle with Ion Particle so it won't get too much damaged. 

Next step will be curling my hair with what they called Rotto. It comes in different sizes. Since I don't want it to be too curled, Dettysan choose the right size for my hair.

Oh I forgot that I still have some bleach left on my hair, if you have ever bleach your hair and it's still there you won't be able to have permanent wave because it will damaged your hair.

But for my condition, i don't mind my small bleach hair part damaged because I could always cut it later on and it's only small part. I know it will be damaged.

The next step is that Dettysan applied the perm chemical, then I waited for 10mins or more, I forgot how long I waited under that heat machine that looks like an alien machine haha..

I think my hair is quite straight that it took some time for it to curl.

Then there's second lotion.

This is Cheryl, the cutest GRO ever.

After that they washed my hair without shampoo and I was told to not shampoo my hair for 2 days or more for the better result but I couldn't wait for more than 2 days. 

So here is the result:

Oh yeah, I did come back to the salon for a lil fix, my upper part of the hair wasn't that curly so (yes she's so nice and da best) Dettysan wanted to fix it so I could have the hair I want 100%

Now it's more curly yes?

I love the result of the curl, it's exactly the way I want it! Dettysan did such a great job! 

My hair is abit dry but it's not damaged. It's still manageable for me. I don't really have to curled iron my hair everyday after washing my hair. I don't even have to hairdry my hair. So it's the best solution for me😘
