HAIR: Let's Talk About Hair Chalk!

Sorry for the lateness, I was in the middle of something important! 

I'm graduating soon!!!!

So I was finishing my thesis, now I'm done with it! I can actually blog again! Gosh, it feels like ages >.< Sorry for not being that active!

This will be my first post in 2015. 

I've been wanting to write about this in so long but just haven't get the chance to really write it to you. I'm not sure though if hair chalk is still on or not, I might have been to late to write about this but, it's better late than never ever post about this, right?

~Reeves Soft Pastel~

You might see some photos of my hair with pink, purple and green strikes and like these photos below :)

THE BEGINNING

I'm simply using hair chalk! I wrote in my blog post before that when I first doing ombre I don't know any vibrant or pastel hair colorant. So in order to have colored hair, I bought hair chalk! This was on 2012. It's not yet popular though it's began to.

Then I think it's in 2013 - 2014, it was began to be noticed by people. and yes, online shops were greatly selling it because probably some of you guys didn't know where to buy it, or what brand of pastel chalk to use for the hair, or is this applicable for the hair and something like that!

I was active back then on Tumblr on 2012, I've been dying to have ombre hair and tried out some pastel chalk. Believe me, I was clueless at that time! Until there was this bazaar at my campus where it was appeared just right infront of my eyes this REEVES SOFT PASTEL.

I've been digging out some information about hair chalk and I found Reeves, but i'm not sure if I could actually use it for the hair, because back then, there's not much of information about it like now. 

but with few sources from mr. Google and mr. YouTube, I've got some information how to use it though, I think, all of it didn't use the same hair chalk I used, so.. well, let's give it a try. and.... guess what! it works!

THE PRICE AND TYPES

Now, what I really want to talk about it THE PRICE!!

guys, you've been deceived if you bought it too expensive, because truly.. it's not!

last few years, I checked if PAPERCLIP sell one of these and THEY WERE ARE until now!! I checked it after I bought one from my campus bazaar. 

(I'm not sure if online store still sell it, though. or is it out of date already?!)

before going to the next thing, I bought my 36 colors for ONLY IDR 45.00 at my campus bazaar.

So, there's 3 types of it. (it's only the amount of colors though) 

12 colors, 24 colors and 36 colors

The price few years back, for the 36 colors was around 50++, if I'm not mistaken, 

but now they had it re-priced, and here the latest price!

The price above was from Paperclip Summarecon Mall Serpong (SMS). I'm not sure about the price at other Paperclip store, but I believe it's the same. 

THE PROBLEM

Now.. here's what I've been willing to tell you guys!

I forgot what OS but I remember it clearly, they sell the one with the 12 colors for the price of 36 colors! Imagine when you could actually get 36 colors but only 12 colors.. >.< Sorry but I don't want that!

even if they sell it per color, go calculate 78.000 ÷ by 36: it will be 2,166++.. 

make it IDR 3.00 per color! 

for profit? IDR 25.00 per color is overpriced dude!! 

go count. 25.000 x 36: 900.000

freaking IDR 900,00 for only 36 colors that were sell on Paperclip for only IDR 78.00???

That's like so freaking insane! I'm talking about like.. ehm how to say this.. Paperclip sell it with these price, why bought it more expensive than that?

THE POSSIBLE UPCOMING QUESTION COULD EVER ASKED

* what if there's no paperclip near my house and i want to have it now?

I'm not telling you to not buy it online! I'm just telling you to be a smart buyer. Now you know the price, when it's overpriced, go find other online store that sell it cheaper or in the price that totally make sense!

* why are you ruining os?

Sorry, I'm not trying to ruin your os, it's just too overpriced! please! if you sell it alot more cheaper then I wouldn't even say anything :)

* where else can i buy it?

to answer this question, I don't know else where besides paperclip. I haven't check Gramedia or other whatsoever book and stationery stores if they sell it. You should probably go check. 

* is it that good?

truly speaking, for Reeves soft pastel, it's not the best hair chalk! the quality of it is only 3.5/5.

Since the purpose of this chalk isn't for hair in the first place!!

Sorry I can't make my own tutorial yet because I need an assistance to do that or else it could get so messy >.<

I tried out purple and some green tosca. it is all pastel❤ me love it!
